The weatherman predicted it correctly — this was a moist day! It started with thick fog, which turned to light drizzle, and then outright rained for a bit. Fortunately, we didn’t get soaked. When it wasn’t raining it was grey and overcast, but very pleasant for walking. As the scenery was hidden from view by the mist and precipitation, our attention was directed to the smaller sights alongside our path — the mosses, rocks, ferns, stone fences, brooks, and so on. Although there was no rainbow, we did find a pot of gold at the end of our stage in the form of the most beautiful Albergue of the Primitivo! A Pocina de Muniz is a 200 year-old converted barn that is a Parador of hostels.
